My favorite part of my body

Are my hands. i love my hands, i use them for everything, eating, reading, touching, etc. Without my hand i would not be able to do many things. I really love that my hands are strong and yet soft to touch. i love how my finger are all straight, and my fingernails look great with a mani. Plus when a ring or some sort of bracelet is around my hands, they just show off my hands more. So thank you god and my mother and father, for these wonderful hands that do so many things for me!!!

Some like it hot

Now as a child my family would make Menudo, and not the latino pop band starring ricky martin. By this soup has been passed down from family generation to generation, you can make it hotter but adding hotter chiles or which everyway you like to. Oh and we make it in big severings. So enjoy

3 gallons water, divided
* 2 1/2 pounds beef tripe, cut into 1-inch pieces
* 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
* 1 large white onion, finely chopped
* 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
* 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
* 1 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano
* 2 tablespoons ground red pepper
* 5 de arbol chile peppers
* 6 japones chile peppers, seeds removed or to make is hotter leave seeds in.
* 6 cups canned white or yellow hominy, drained
* 1/2 white onion, chopped
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
* 2 limes, juiced


DIRECTIONS

1. In a large pot, bring 1 gallon water to a boil. Place tripe in the pot, reduce heat, and simmer 2 hours. Periodically skim off fat with a spoon. Drain water, reduce heat, and pour in a fresh gallon of water. Continue to simmer tripe for 2 hours; drain.

2. Pour remaining 1 gallon water into the pot with tripe, and bring to a boil. Stir in garlic and 1 white onion. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour.

3. Preheat the broiler.

4. Arrange the de arbol chile peppers on a baking sheet, and broil about 2 minutes, just until they begin to scorch. Remove from heat, slit lengthwise, and remove seeds. In a blender or food processor, blend the de arbol chile peppers and japones chile peppers until very finely chopped. Mix into the pot, and continue cooking 2 hours over low heat.

5. Mix the hominy into the pot. Continue cooking 1 hour. Serve with remaining onion, cilantro, and lime juice.

Last night we went to Martin's off of Madison

Really good and i mean good food. We were planning to go dancing but john was just too tired last night so off to bed and some petting time with the puppies.


Everytime we go back to john's we past the cqr wash sign. i love this sign not only due to its bright neon colors, but how well it looks at night. makes me want to get the car washed!

Who really watched Catwoman for the movie. Many men watched to have Hallie Berry dance around in her cat outfit. I know that she has a really great body and her acting was good, but having her play as a cat, in a whip, black leather.. gay

Well guess what. You not only upset the police, but half of portland and beaverton and other towns on the westside of the tunnel. I'm glad they caught the guy. Now he will go to jail!

Gym Whacky-ness

Now when i go to the gym i go to work out, not be hit on but guys that want to take me in the stream room or whatever. Well i guess my question is do i act really gay that i have men hit on me? Am i cute that they want me? I wear the ring that my partner gave me to wear and i use that as a symbol that i'm taking and do not even look at me. ok here's the story.

Yesterday was my first day back to the gym from all the holiday fatty ness! I went to the gym in downtown where i always work out at. And i do get him on by both men and women, but yesterday this daddy non anderson cooper old man comes up to me and smiles at me, stares, winks, and trys to make small talk with me. Now when i'm at the gym i just want to work out by myself and with my music and "feel the burn" But i was shocked that men hit on me while i work out. Im not flattered by this, im really offended. I love my boyfriend, and i dont want some old man that wants in my pants to hit on me. I guess i just need to tell him "Fuck off!"

well off to work than the gym again. Let's see how today goes!

Meet the parents

This week i got to met John's wonderful parents. They are in their mid 70's, great hosts, caring about their family, loving, open to new people. And they can drink.

On friday the second, my heart was racing, my hand were sweating, my best clothes on. I as was meeting the boyfriend's parents for the first time. As we drove up to the house in which they lived, all the houses look the same. The live in a really nice two story home, with their dog. We were the last to arrive due to me getting ready late. I was a bit overwhelmed with meeting all the rest of the family at once. I met john's sisters, his brother in law, nieces and nephew. My first thought is when i met everyone was that i was too young of john and that they would not approve of me. Well as it turns out, they were really happy that john has found someone that makes him happy, and from what his mother told me about john's blogs from our vacation. He sounds so relaxed, calm, happy. At least i'm doing something right. Well we didnt really have a dinner, it was finger food and lots of wine for me. I kept telling john if his mother was drunk, and kept giving john looks of that i wanted him. We all talked about traveling, favorite tv shows, i.e Amazing race, trivia shows, things we like to do. Than i spent a pretty good chunk of time chatting with his father about rugby, and the difference between American football. Overall my boyfriend parents are wonderful social people that are involved in many actives in their life's as well as their family. When the night had ended john took me home and i said my good bye to all and hope that i will see them again. His parents both hugged me and told me they hope to see me again. Well now that i got that under my belt, it's time i need to plan my wooing them.
