Green eggs and i should be hammered...

I have been in a cooking mood this weekend with work. I've been read all these books about food and recipes on how to prepare them. Well today i made one of them happen.


I first started at the Wednesday Market at the south park blocks. It was the Pesto sauce/paste that i need there. I brought one dozens of eggs, green food coloring, a bit of milk, and some ham. Yes i made green eggs and ham. The Dr. Suess favor of all children. At first when i prepare this wonderful treat for my students, their reactions were. "I don't like green eggs and ham." Or "My pants don't want me eating green eggs" I know that something that looks green doesn't always look good to eat. But after the first bite, their eyes lit up. Their hand and mouth started as if they had minds of their own. It was a Huge hit with them. All but one student didn't try it. But I'm proud that my students over came the fear of trying something new. And hopefully they told their parents and they can make it for them.

Yet i sum up another weekend in my life of a gay man. Well My weekend was great... Ok Scratch that... My weekend Was Fabulous. My boyfriend john came down from Seattle to watch the rugby team i play with. It was great to get back out there and hit hard. I did have some flaws but quickly took the advice of my teammates and coach and got my head in the game. Of course the beer afterwords made all the aches and pains go away. John was more than happy to be there cheering me on and clinch this teeth when i got hit or rucked. He felt a bit sorry for me when later he saw all the bruises on my body.

He did get to meet my other mother this weekend. Which she was more than excited. She even cooked and planned a dinner. Than of course after dinner was the talking part. "What do you have to offer my lil boy?" "If you hurt him i will rip out your heart and stuff it down your throat!!!" Aww... what are mom'S for...

But spending time with john always makes me happy and when he leaves i long to be with him more. This time it will not be for three weeks this time. That's too long. and just for the record... I'm tired and a bit sore... if you know what i mean. Well that sums up part of my weekend. And i leave you with some pictures of this weekend.

Game time in only 13hours

The game for tomorrow against reed college will be fun. And not only fun but exciting. It's our first game of the season and i can't wait to get out there and Tackle and Ruck hard.... I call on the strength of my brothers before me and the ones that are with me. Guide me in this game i play and help me keep safe and protect my fellow teammates!
